SQUIRREL ENERGY FITNESS

IS FOR

EVERYONE

Whether you’re a recreational athlete, trying to get back int shape, or you’re looking for some new ideas or pointers, I can get you moving and fueled in ways that support your needs and goals.

Your body is your instrument. Tune it up through functional training (balance, posture, movement, flexibility), toning and toning muscles, nutritional coaching, or all of the above.

  • Focus on posture, flexibility, and balance, mobility.

Functional training will optimize your body to support tasks such as singing and acting. We’ll inhibit overactive muscles and stretch and strengthen underactive muscles to improve posture, and we’ll increase range of motion in joints and challenge your balance and coordination for better movement.

  • Focus on nutritional education and modifying eating habits.

Nutritional coaching will help you make healthier dietary choices at home or on the road to fuel your artistic work, manage or lose weight, or both. We’ll take your goals and find a system that empowers you to make healthy decisions and stick to them.

What we can do together. As a nutrition coach, I can provide holistic nutrition and lifestyle services that include:

    - Thoroughly assess and track medical, dietary, and lifestyle factors through intake and regular checkins

    - Plan dietary changes with the aim of improving overall health and wellness, weight loss, or physique building (protein, fat, carbohydrates, alcohol, vitamins, minerals; calorie intake, counting, and sources; supplementation options and guidance; nutrition and supplementation for specific activities, e.g. running, physique building, weight loss)

    - Assess and modify lifestyle behaviors, and implement maintenance strategies to support dietary goals

    - Set goals and establish accountability through checkins, nutritional tracking, education, and actionable steps (grocery shopping, cooking, prep, kitchen clean-outs, recipe modifications, etc.)

What we can’t do together. I can work with your physician or licensed dietitian to support their diagnoses and prescribed treatments, but you’ll need to talk with one of them to do the following:

    - Receive a prescription for specific supplements or to develop specific meal plans

    - Receive a diagnosis and treatment plan for dietary or other physical diseases

  • Focus on body image and aesthetic.

This is for artists that want a tighter body with more muscular definition or bulk, or for those that need to develop more strength. We’ll combine functional training and nutritional coaching with a program to build and shape muscles for a more sculpted body.

Performing Artists

A Place for

Dancers, musicians, and actors are athletes no different from quarterbacks, guards, and goalies. If you’re an artist, read on about what we can do together.

Price and Place

Let’s keep this simple. 😊

  • $70/hr for workout + nutrition coaching

  • + $20 if I must drive more than 15 minutes

  • + $ for parking, space/gym use fee (if applicable)

For package deals, individualized fitness plans, nutrition-only coaching, or pricing of 30 or 45-minute sessions, please contact me.

For locations, please see the dropdown menu. I’m flexible and mobile.

  • Coming soon(ish)!

  • If you have a garage, a yard, or space in your house we can use, I can bring my equipment and meet you there. We just need to make sure there’s parking for me to bring my stuff. Depending on how far away, I may need to add a travel fee.

  • I can come to work with you in your gym. The benefit of this is you’l learn/know how to use the equipment even when I’m not around. We need to make sure the gym is ok with this first, and if there are any fees for use of the space that will be added to the cost of your session(s).

  • Barring any weather issue, we can work outside. I can bring my equipment and we can also use what we find around us. You can travel to me and we can work in a local park or I can come to you if you know a place. We just need to make sure the space is available and there’s parking for me to bring my stuff. Depending on how far away, I may need to add a travel fee.

  • If you have a a space in a church or community building we can use, I can bring my equipment and meet you there. We need to make sure the space is ok with this first, and if there are any fees for use of the space that will be added to the cost of your session(s).

INCLUSIVITY

I know gyms and sports have not always been welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ people. That was certainly my experience growing up. You don’t need to worry about that with me. We can be fabulous and sporty. Come as you are and we’ll work on who you want to become.
